 About our Classes

Our group classes are a great place for your dog to learn basic manners.  The objective of our entry level classes such as basic and puppy is to teach you to train your dog how to walk nicely on leash, come when you call them and stay when told.  Jumping up on people as well as stealing things are just a few of the common problem behaviors also addressed.  Group classes lead to a dog that not only behaves in the home but also when out in public and in the presence of other dogs.

Our approach to training has evolved over many years of experience.  We use reward based techniques that focus on strengthening the relationship between you and your dog.  Most commands are taught in a “building block” format that allows your dog to easily succeed right from the start.  This not only makes it more fun for you and your dog but also helps to build your dog’s confidence.

Overall our goal is to teach your dog to be a good learner and to teach you how to be a good trainer - all the while never forgetting that training should be fun for you and your dog.

For additional information or to register for classes, please email Staci Stanley at info@betterbehavior.com or call 603-743-3172.
