The Yellow Dog's Barn is located on 2.5 acres with 4 separate outdoor play areas, each with shelter for rainy days and dog pools for sunny days. We have 3 indoor play areas ~ one area for small dogs and puppies & two areas for adult dogs to romp and play on wet or cold days!

At The Yellow Dog's Barn, your dog will spend the day playing in a supervised group of dogs carefully selected to fit his or her personality. We have scheduled nap-times to give all the dogs a chance to rest, have their lunch or just a snack (we provide Mother Nature, all natural dog biscuits at naptimes).

What will my dog do while at The Yellow Dog’s Barn?

When your dog arrives at The Yellow Dog’s Barn,  he or she will be met in the office by one of our friendly staff and taken out to start his or her day.

After a brief stop to change into one of our velcro collars and drop off any personal items (collar, leash, lunch, treats...) at his/her cubby, he/she will be led outside to one of our three play-yards. Your dog will play outside long enough to go potty, and then he/she will join the rest of the pups in the nap-room until the end of check-in time or until all of the dogs have arrived for daycare.

At 8:30 am, all the dogs are released with their pre-determined groups out into the play-yards.

The rest of their day will go like this:

8:30am-10:00am: Play…Play…Play

10:00am-11:00am: Nap-time & Treats (& breakfast if supplied)

11:00am-1:00pm: Play…Play…Play

1:00pm-2:00pm: Nap-time & Treats (& lunch if supplied)

2:00pm-4:30pm: Play…Play…Play

4:30pm-6:00pm: All pooped out pups are crated while they wait for their turn to go home J

On cold and/or wet days, we will alter our normal daily routine with indoor play and outdoor potty breaks,  keeping the same nap-times.

To keep all the pups healthy, please remember that if your dog is not feeling well, is coughing, throwing up or has diarrhea, please keep your dog home until he/she is better!

 The Bark Around Town

 Bella & Rylee

The Yellow Dog’s Barn has become a second home for our dogs. On “school” days they can’t wait to get in the car and get to TYDB, and we feel great dropping them off, because we know they are being watched in a clean and comfortable environment by professionals who understand the importance of keeping everyone safe and happy.   Holly and JoAnne treat our dogs like their own, and we love being able to look online from work and see the pictures of our dogs having a great day. When you pick your dogs up at the end of the day and hear specific details about the day they had, you realize what a safe and closely monitored environment they are in. And lastly, we love coming home after work with two happy and VERY TIRED dogs! Alison & Lee, Madbury, NH

Cin & Goyal:

Hi, We're Cin & Goyal and we are two of the kids at The Yellow Dog’s Barn. We love coming to school to see our Aunties and all of our buddies. Our Aunties take very good care of all of us. They make sure we are getting along and that we have as much fun as possible.  When it is cold and rainy, we can go inside and play, which is great, but they make sure that we get outside to do our business too. My Mom & Dad love TYDB too because we come home tired and they know that we are in safe hands while we're here. We always recommend The Yellow Dog’s Barn to all our friends, just come by and check it out~ You'll love it too!   Cin, Goyal, Teri & Chris, Rochester, NH

Harley

Harley felt right at home from the first day she was introduced to the TYDB.  I feel very comfortable dropping her off for the day with no worries. I trust Joanne and Holly as much as I trust my daughter’s daycare. They're a clean environment with only one goal and that is the safety of the dogs. Harley gets so excited to go there, she whines of excitement from miles away. She knows she's going to see her friends and have lots of fun! When we pick her up at the end of the day she is exhausted from playing. It feels great knowing that the dogs are loved by TYDB like they were their own.  I would recommend the TYDB to anyone.  Heather  & Chris A, Barrington, NH
