Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Dogs leaving after this time will be charged an additional $20 for the last day. Appointments are required for both check-in and check-out times, and must be scheduled during the following times:
Monday-Friday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM & 4:00 PM - 6 PM
If you are unable to make it for your drop-off or pick-up appointment, kindly call the office and let us know.
Boarding charges are incurred for the first day’s stay regardless of what time the pet arrives. There will be no charge for the last day’s stay if the dog is picked up before 11:00 AM.
The office is closed for pick-ups and drop-offs on the following holidays: 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Years Day.
Even though the office is closed during major holidays, but we never stop caring for your pets as our staff is here 24/7.
We do not require a minimum stay.
Please pre-bag your dogs food in meal-sized portions and label each bag with your dogs name. We cannot accept large bags of food!
Holiday Rates: (as of April 2, 2018)
In order to compensate our dedicated employees who work the holidays, our boarding rates will be increased by $10 per dog for all major holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NY Eve, NY Day).
We require 48 hours advanced notice if you wish to cancel your reservation or schedule an early pickup for your dog. If you do not give advanced notice in accordance with our cancellation policy you will be charged for 50% of the total reservation or remainder thereof.
Early returns creates a significant problem when we are not given notice prior to arrival. If bathing or grooming is scheduled, those services are usually done the day of departure. It takes time to pack up your pets belongings and create discharge paperwork that we may not have without prior notice.
And, when we are full and you return early without notice, it leaves a space which we may not be able to fill, creating vacancies and loss in revenue.
For these reasons, the owner will be required to pay for the entire reservation unless notification is given 48 hours prior to pre-arranged pick-up.

Proof of Vaccinations
For all dogs coming to The Yellow Dog’s Barn for daycare and/or boarding, we require a veterinary certificate providing proof that your pet is current on required vaccinations at least seven days prior to visiting us. Dog must have current Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella and a negative fecal/giardia test and must be on some form of flea/tick preventative. We also accept titers in lieu of vaccinations. If your veterinarian recommends that your dog not be vaccinated, please call us to discuss your pet’s special needs. We must have your pets application and proof of all vaccinations & fecal/giardia test results at least 2 days prior to boarding!
All pets will be checked for fleas and ticks upon arrival. If necessary, we will give your pet a bath using an all-natural flea shampoo and apply a topical medication at the owner’s expense.
A 50% deposit will be required for overnight reservations of any duration.
