 Holly - Owner

Holly Grant began her career caring for and learning about animals at the age of 15, working in the kennel at North Country Animal Hospital in Lyndonville, Vermont.  Her interest in animal care was further explored as an Animal Science major at The University of Vermont.  Before earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, she participated in several internships working as a Veterinary Technician, at The Humane Society of Greater Burlington, and with Therapy Dogs of Vermont.  In 2001, Holly moved to the seacoast with her boyfriend, Jarrod, and their yellow lab, Madison.  Holly began a dog walking and pet sitting business with the hope of someday expanding to include a dog daycare.  With Madison as the inspiration, and after much research and planning, The Yellow Dog’s Barn was created a few years later.
